Galveston Papers
The Galveston Papers contain correspondence related to a missing package or article. The recipient’s name on the correspondence is Iola and it is written on Galveston News letterhead. There is an included transcription of the correspondence. The papers also include ledger documents that are illegible and a small map of Galveston, Texas.

General Sam Houston Folk Festival Materials Collection
The General Sam Houston Folk Festival Materials collection is compose of newspaper clippings, brochures, and correspondence concerning the East Texas Folk Festival and the General Sam Houston Folk Festival. The East Texas Folk Festival is the predecessor to the General Sam Houston Folk Festival; the name was changed in 1989.
George J. Beto Papers
The collection consists of materials, such as papers, publications, and photographs, owned or related to Dr. George J. Beto throughout his life and long career in criminal justice. The collection was compiled and donated to the SHSU Special Collections by George Beto's son, Dan Beto.
George W. Morgan Collection
This collection contains a manuscript left behind by Major General George W. Morgan detailing his military service.
German - Texan Heritage Society Newsletter Collection
This collection consists of issues from the German-Texan Heritage Society newsletter. Later issues are titled “The Journal”.
Gibbs Brothers Account Book
The Gibbs Brothers Account Book was used to record daily transactions from December 1854 through February 1855. The ledger is unbound and in very fragile condition. The book was donated to the Texas Room of the Estill Library, Sam Houston State Teachers College, by Dr. J.L. Clark on April 3, 1962. See also the Gibbs Family Papers.
